Yuan Hou Gun (Ape / Monkey Staff 少林猿猴棍)
In this course, you will learn one of the few known authentic Shaolin Monkey staff forms, with all its skill-building work and important staff combat exercises. Note that it is not an imitative animal form: we imitate the attributes of apes and monkeys, and not the external shape of their movements. It is a very dynamic and unpredictable form with trickster strategies, and advanced internal principles.
